The Village Board of Trustees unanimously voted at Monday night’s meeting to approve improvements to Gorge Road, Griebel Lane, and Pleasant Avenue as presented by DPW Superintendent Cole Keyser.
Substantial work will be done on all three Village streets, with improvements including cold paving, fog sealing, and then oil and stoning. Since all three streets are dead ended, the DPW will communicate with residents for when road construction is scheduled later this summer.
Between cost of materials and labor, the estimated cost of road improvements to Gorge Road, Griebel Lane, and Pleasant Avenue will be approximately $69,000. All funds are being paid out of the Village DPW’s allotment of CHIPS funds.
