The Village of Middleburgh has many beautiful parks, gardens, and recreational activities to visit!

Art Park

The Middleburgh Art Park is an outdoor display of the beautiful artwork made by local artists. To find the Art park, drive up Wells Ave just off of Main St. or Danforth Ave. just off of River St. and you'll be sure to find it.

Memorial Park

Originally a burial ground, the land was converted in the 1920's, making it Middleburgh's oldest park. Within the park there are monuments honoring Schoharie Valley's Revolutionary War hero's, WWI, WWII, Korean War, and Vietnam war veterans. Along with the monuments there is a fountain, urns, flowers, a gazebo and park benches! You can find memorial park on the east end of the Village just off of Main St.

Middleburgh Community Swimming Pool

The community swimming pool is the perfect place to enjoy and splash and cool down in the summer heat. You can find the swimming pool on Pool Ln. which is just off of Baker Ave.

Middleburgh Lanes

Lanes is the Village bowling alley, home to pins, strikes and fun! If you're looking for an activity to do you can find it here on Chestnut Ln. just off of Main St.

Middleburgh Library

In the center of Main St. there is the library, home of many books for the community to borrow as long as you have a library card. Besides lending books, the library also holds some events and other services such as copying, printing, scanning and lamination.

Timothy Murphy Park

Named after the Village's Revolutionary war hero, Timothy Murphy, this park provides access to Schoharie Creek, a pavilion with picnic tables. The pavilion here can be reserved, if you are interested, please scroll down to the "Pavilions" section

Vroman's Nose Hiking Trail

While not directly in the lines of the Village, this hiking trail is a great activity and is only a few minutes away from the Village! You can find this trail on Mill Valley Rd. which comes off of Route 30.

William B. Morton Creekside Park

Creekside Park is a lovely place to relax on the benches and tables in the shade of the pavilion. You can find this park off of Baker Ave. Also, he pavilion here can be reserved, if you are interested, please look just below here in the "Pavilions" section

If you are interested in possibly using either pavilions on Baker Ave. or in Timothy Murphy Park for an event or some type of function, please fill out the Village of Middleburgh’s Application of Use form provided here.
