The Village of Middleburgh Board of Trustees, by order of Mayor Knight, will be holding a special board meeting at Village Hall, located at 309 Main Street, on Monday, August 25th at 7:00 PM. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss a requested liquor license waiver, the installation of a parking lot at 111 Railroad Avenue, and the Village applying for a NY Swims Grant.

Special Village Board Meeting Agenda – August 25, 2025

1. Mayor to open meeting with Pledge of Allegiance at 7:00 PM.

2. Discussion: Yellow Dog Tavern Request for Liquor License Waiver

  • Motion to Approve Resolution 8-2025: Yellow Dog Tavern Liquor License Waiver.

3. Discussion: 111 Railroad Avenue Parking Lot

4. Discussion: Village Application for NY Swims Grant

  • Motion to Approve Resolution 9-2025: Support for Village Pool Improvements.

5. Motion to approve purchase of new Printer/Copier for $2,500.00.

6. Motion to approve repair of Sewer Plant Actuator for $6,948.57.

7. Motion to accept Village Clerk Melanie Laraway’s resignation, effective September 24, 2025.

8. Motion to advertise Village Clerk’s position for two weeks; personnel interviews to follow.

9. Motion to schedule Special Board Meeting for Monday, September 15, 7:00 PM at Village Hall.

10. Any other business that may legally come before the Board.

11. Adjournment.
