As part of the upcoming 250th Community Celebration on Friday, July 3rd in the Village of Middleburgh, the following locations will be opened up as “Cooling Stations” with free water available to attendees:
Middleburgh Library – 323 Main Street
Open from 1 PM to 5 PM, the Middleburgh Library will be hosting a free “button-making” activity, and the air-conditioned facility will be open for folks to cool off leading up to and during the parade.
Our Lady of the Valley – 111 Wells Avenue
Open from 5 PM to Dusk, Our Lady of the Valley will be hosting a Strawberry Festival with colonial-era hat making as well as a karaoke of Patriotic Songs. The air-conditioned church hall will be open for folks seeking respite from the heat.
In addition, the Village Community Pool will be open from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM during the day’s festivities, and vendors will have water for sale throughout the community.
