Update (Wednesday, November 5th at 10:24 AM): Due to the new concrete pad not curing in time and the forecasted high winds tonight, the reinstallation of the crossing lights system is being delayed until weather conditions improve.
The Village of Middleburgh Department of Public Works (DPW) Crew temporarily took down one of the crossing light systems at the Middleburgh Elementary School Crosswalk this morning on Main Street to install a more permanent base.
The crossing lights system will be reinstalled on Wednesday. We apologize for any inconvenience that may result.
