On Wednesday, September 24th and Thursday, September 25th – contingent upon good weather – Wells Avenue and Straub Lane will be temporarily closed from approximately 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM as the Village DPW makes improvements to these streets.
The entirety of Wells Avenue will be milled on Wednesday, September 24th and then paved on Thursday, September 25th; Straub Lane will be paved from 122 Straub Lane to Main Street on Thursday, September 25th.
Residents of Wells Avenue and Straub Lane will not be able to enter or exit their streets for the majority of construction, so parking arrangements will need to be made elsewhere. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we make these vital improvements to our Village infrastructure.
A letter has been mailed to residents of Wells Avenue and Straub Lane with details about the upcoming construction work and updates will be provided as necessary.
