The Village of Middleburgh is seeking items to place in a new time capsule that will be buried on Friday, October 10th at Village Memorial Park for 25 years. Community members unveiled a capsule last August that had been placed 25 years prior.
The project is being spearheaded by Village Clerk Melanie Laraway and Deputy Clerk Rebecca Kelley. If you have any interest in contributing an item towards this capsule, please call them at 518-827-5143 or email at middleburghnyvillage@midtel.net.
In particular, the Village is looking for the following items:
- Letters from Village/community members to future generations.
- Mementos from the year 2025, such as baseball cards or toy cars.
- Menus/Programs from businesses and community organizations.
